Allah سبحانہ وتعالی advises us to seek His help through Salah. He says: “Seek help through patience and Salah. Indeed, It is a burden except on those who are devout within.” This is why whenever the last Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم was distressed or faced a difficulty, he would turn to Salah. Also, whenever the Prophet’s صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم family faced any difficulty he would instruct them to perform Salah and recite to them the verse, “And enjoin Salah upon your family and remain constant on it. We do not ask you for sustenance.
We provide for you. And the good end [paradise] is for [those who possess] God consciousness.”
Salah also prevents people from improper actions. This will happen when it is performed with all its conditions and by concentrating on the meanings and making oneself humble in front of Allah سبحانہ وتعالی.
Allah سبحانہ وتعالی says, ” Surely salah prevents people from shameful acts and evil.” Furthermore, Allah سبحانہ و تعالی says, “The believers have indeed succeeded; those who, when performing Salah, are devout within.”
